01

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make websites function properly, provide security features, and enhance user experience.

02

Cookies We Use

Termopus does not set any first-party cookies. We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics purposes.

03

Cloudflare (Hosting & Security)

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare, which may set the following cookies for security and bot protection:

  • __cf_bm — Bot management cookie to distinguish humans from bots. Expires after 30 minutes.
  • cf_clearance — Set after completing a security challenge. Expires after 30 minutes.

These are strictly necessary for security and do not track browsing activity or collect personal information.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (essential for service security, no consent required).

04

Paddle (Payments)

When you interact with the Paddle checkout widget, Paddle may set cookies for:

  • Fraud prevention and security verification
  • Completing and processing your payment transaction
  • Maintaining your checkout session

Paddle cookies are only active when you interact with the payment widget. They are not used for tracking or advertising.

Legal basis: Contract performance (necessary to process your payment).

05

Future Analytics

We do not currently use any analytics or tracking cookies. If we introduce basic analytics in the future, we will update this policy before any new cookies are set, provide notice to users, and ensure analytics are privacy-respecting without personal data collection or cross-site tracking.

06

Managing Cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Disabling Cloudflare's security cookies may prevent access if a security challenge is triggered.

07

Do Not Track

Some browsers support a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. We honor Do Not Track signals. Since we do not use tracking cookies or advertising, this setting has no practical impact on your experience.

08

Changes & Contact

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we begin using new categories of cookies, we will provide at least 14 days' notice. Questions? Contact us at Support@termopus.com.
