Terms of Service

Last updated: February 22, 2026

01

Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Termopus, including the mobile application, desktop bridge component, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Termopus ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Tel Aviv, Israel. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. This age requirement aligns with the GDPR age of digital consent applicable in most EU member states.

03

Service Description

Termopus is a mobile application that enables remote control and monitoring of Claude Code sessions. The Service consists of:

  • A mobile app for iOS and Android
  • A lightweight desktop bridge component (Rust-based)
  • A relay server that facilitates encrypted communication between your phone and computer

All communication between your devices is end-to-end encrypted. The relay server only transmits opaque encrypted blobs and cannot access your code or session content. Note that while message content is fully encrypted, operational metadata (such as connection timestamps, IP addresses, and device identifiers) may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

04

Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. When the trial period ends, access to the Service is immediately suspended. You must actively subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. There is no automatic conversion to a paid plan.

05

Subscription & Billing

We offer two paid subscription plans:

  • Monthly: $9.90 per month, billed monthly
  • Annual: $99.00 per year, billed once per year

Both plans include identical features and full access. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.

Payments may be processed through:

  • Web: Via Paddle (paddle.com), which acts as our Merchant of Record handling billing, invoicing, and tax/VAT collection. Web purchases are subject to Paddle's Terms of Service.
  • In-App: Via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, subject to their terms.

For web purchases, Paddle calculates and collects applicable taxes (including VAT) based on your location. The final price including taxes will be displayed at checkout.

We reserve the right to change prices with at least 30 days' notice. New prices apply at next renewal. For annual subscribers, any price change will only take effect at the start of your next annual billing cycle — your current annual term is not affected.

06

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Service, your app store account settings, or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent periods
  • No partial refunds for unused time, whether monthly or annual

Cooling-off period: If you are located in the EU or a jurisdiction that provides a statutory right of withdrawal for digital services, you may cancel within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund, provided you have not substantially used the Service during that period. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

For app store purchases, refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies. For web purchases through Paddle, refund processing is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

If payment fails, we may suspend access after a 7-day grace period. Access will be restored upon successful payment.

07

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Bypass or disable security features or encryption
  • Use the Service for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Share account credentials with third parties
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service
  • Interfere with service infrastructure (DDoS, scraping, etc.)
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other programmatic means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage or places undue burden on our infrastructure

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

08

Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, branding, logos, and documentation, is the property of Termopus and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

Termopus does not access, store, collect, or claim any rights to your source code or project files. All code remains on your computer and is transmitted to your phone via end-to-end encryption. We have no ability to view or access the content of your sessions.

09

Privacy & Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at Support@termopus.com. For details on data portability, retention, and your rights regarding personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

10

Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms. In the event of termination for cause:

  • We will provide written notice specifying the reason for termination, unless immediate action is required to protect the Service or other users
  • You will have 14 days from the date of termination notice to export any data accessible through the Service
  • You may appeal the decision by contacting us at Support@termopus.com within 30 days

You may delete your account at any time through the Service settings or by contacting support.

11

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that it will meet your specific requirements, or that any defects will be corrected. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

We are not liable for issues arising from:

  • Loss of data or service interruptions
  • Actions of third parties (Apple, Google, Paddle, Anthropic)
  • Behavior of Claude Code or any AI tool
  • Your own code, configurations, or environment
  • Data loss or unintended changes resulting from commands executed via the remote control feature

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power failures, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or failures of third-party services on which the Service depends.

14

Beta & Experimental Features

We may offer beta, preview, or experimental features that are not yet generally available. These features are provided "as is" without any warranties, may contain bugs or errors, and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice. Your use of beta features is at your own risk, and we may collect additional usage data to improve these features as described in our Privacy Policy.

15

Open-Source Components

The Service may include or depend on open-source software components, each governed by its own license terms. A list of open-source components and their applicable licenses is available upon request. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the license terms of any open-source component, the open-source license shall prevail with respect to that component.

16

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith informal negotiation for a period of at least 30 days. To begin this process, contact us at Support@termopus.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel.

17

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect via email or in-app notification. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
